During the summer before my senior year of college, I had a bit of an awakening. I was studying Industrial Engineering but quickly realized there was so much more I could do with my skills and ambitions. That's when the idea of owning a business and forging my own path really took hold.
After graduation, I explored different ventures, trying to find my niche. Eventually, I circled back to something I'd always been good at but had yet to fully appreciate: working with numbers. I'd studied finance in college, but it didn't excite me at the time. I wasn't interested in small 5 to 10% gains; I wanted to learn how to significantly increase my income and have the money that wasn’t being invested back into myself safe and accessible.
Well, early in my journey, I stumbled upon strategies for safely and accessibly growing wealth in a tax-free environment. At first, I was skeptical. But I'm naturally curious and tend to question conventional wisdom, so I dove in headfirst. I asked every question I could think of and eventually became convinced that this approach had real potential.
So, following my usual all-or-nothing approach, I decided to fully commit. I moved across the country, invested heavily in training, and sought out mentorship from industry leaders. It was a big risk, and I wasn't entirely sure how things would turn out. But I believed that if I stayed the path, God would provide.
Looking back now, it's a bit surreal to see how far I've come. What started with me being the guy asking all the questions has evolved into me running my own practice, serving, currently, a few dozen clients, and building valuable partnerships in those areas where I'm not the expert. The journey has been challenging, but it’s been a blessing, especially when I see the positive impact I've been able to have on my clients' lives, especially my Dad’s.
I am a Catholic Christian rigorously interested in philosophy, all things business, and growing in my Faith. My favorite book is G.K. Chesterton's Orthodoxy.
